EIDFJORD, Norway - Tuesday, May 2, 2017

The quaint village of Eidfjord is nestled in the heart of one of Norway's most scenic regions. From the Norwegian Sea, the waters of the expansive Hardangerfjord lead to the smaller Eidfjorden and to this charming mountain hamlet of 950 people.

What a view to enjoy!

Too bad space does not allow me to all more photos.

We took the bus to the beautiful scenic Hardangervidda Nature Center where we watched the most amazing IMAX movie, all taken from a helicopter. A few times I could not look as it was so real! The nature center had beautiful displays with the various wild life.

We were able to do 2 fabulous geocaches here, one involving a great walk. The weather was perfect, as was the scenery.

After lunch we headed out to explore the small town. One geocache  led us to a church built in 1308!  Amazing ...

Church complete with coal furnace ..... actually 2 of them.

Outside the church was a farm, complete with sheep.

I think I am up to my limit for photos, even though I have more great ones!

This was a beautiful place and the first time the ship had been there.

All for now, love to all
