BARCELONA April 16,2017

We are here in Barcelona and enjoyed a lovely long sleep last night. We will back track a bit here and mention that our flights were perfect with just enough time between them so we did not have to worry. On Sunday we flew from Amsterdam to Barcelona on a crystal clear day and the view over the mountains was excellent.  Our flight when landing in Barcelona took us out over the Mediterranean and we had a fabulous view of the city, including our ship in the harbour.

Photos will be difficult in the blog as we are on ship internet.  We will try in future posts.

Today we are going on a tour of Barcelona at 1 pm.  We wisely chose the latest tour so we could relax in the morning. Right now Eric is walking across a huge bridge in terminal A where there is a geocache.  I am sure he is doing a bridge inspection also.

We love the ship.  So modern!  Totally Scandinavian in design and the small ship offers such beautiful personal service. Eric mentioned at dinner last night that he is allergic to scallops and the whole kitchen staff descended on him. He gets to chose his selections the day ahead.... I know all cruise lines do this but we have never thought to do it before now.

They brought in some flamenco dancers last evening and they put on a super show.
